No chores

So today was gorgeous! My little man and I had a play date this morning, then we picked up big brother at school, next was the library and then the bank. After that we came home and had lunch, took a nap and played in the sunshine when we woke up. After all of that goodness, I didn't have to cook! My husband picked up Papa Murphy's! What a wonderful day of no chores.

Tomorrow I am excited to be preparing the house for Easter and guests. My favorite thing to do is dye Easter eggs and make each finger tye dyed, lol.

The chicken coupe is almost finished. My husband is putting the roof on it tomorrow.

I started a new book series, "The Little House on the Prairie". I was never a fan of the tv show. When I saw "The House in the Big Woods" I was interested and checked it out. I finished that book so quickly that we went back to the library today and I got two more of the books in the series. I didn't realize the show was based off of these books until my husband told me. How funny.

Tomorrow is a brand new day and I'm thankful to God for I am so. blessed

Zombie Mamma

Today was not a day I wanted to get out of bed. The alarm went off at 6:30am too soon. After some coffee and taking a shower I felt like half a person. Then it was onto the days chores and finishing with a check up at the doctors and new rx pick up. Today would have been nice to just sit and enjoy my crochet. Tonight it's to bed early and another day of Spring cleaning tomorrow.
Do you ever feel like you're in zombie mamma mode?
On a more positive note, I received a letter from our sponsored child in Zambia. It was so exciting to hear what his life is like and what he is interested in. He is in first grade, he's eight years old and loves to play football (soccer). I was so excited that I wrote him back and sent a couple of coloring pages with it. The letters need to be flat and no packages because of theft.  While driving home it made me realize how fortunate we are to live in such a "rich" country. We are able to feed and clothe our children and we have medical staff and equipment at hand.  Please pray for those less fortunate and be thankful for what God provides.

It was a beautiful Spring day!

Today was gorgeous! It was 58°! Got a lot done today, but I couldn't stay inside Spring cleaning all day.
When I was outside I was admiring the new chicken coupe my husband is building. (pictured below)
We have six chickens and I can't wait for them to be out of the house and into the coupe. (They aren't quite big enough yet.)
I also took my little one to the park and we did our grocery shopping. I am so thankful to God that he takes care if us and provides that we need.
